Fowler Family: 9 months!!!

so im a month late with this post but i'm going to do it anyway.

cache had a yucky cough pretty much all of february that we just could not figure out. all night he would cough until he couldnt breath and sometimes it sounded so bad we thought he was going to throw up. i took him to the doctor for his 9 month check up and the dr. said he wanted me to try sucking his nose out every night for a week and bring him back in a week and we'd check it again. He also hadnt gained any weight since his last check up so that worried us.

So the next week when we took him in we found out his cough had gotten even worse and his lungs were all raspy and stuff so the doctor was worried. also we weighed him again and he had lost a half a pound which was not good since he was under weight to begin with. we tried a breathing treatment to see if it was maybe ashma but that made it worse so after a couple of hours trying to figure out what to do we were sent over to the hospital to do some allergy tests and check for RSV. that was the worst ever! they had to stick this tube up his nose to suck up all his snot to test that then they had to draw 2 tubes of blood while i had to hold him down and watch him scream. it made me sick and i just wanted to cry. poor baby. anyway he was fine after a couple of minutes and we had to wait a couple days for the results.

they came back and we found that he had absolutely no allergies and it wasnt RSV and it ended up that he had Metapneumo Virus which is just an upper respitory virus that we just had to wait out. so anyway, not a big deal just glad it's over. We are so ready for the Spring so we dont have some stupid cold every other week.
