We started out our trip on a friday morning dropping our baby boy off to his grandma and grandpas. That was a pretty rough start for me. I pretty much cried from the moment we loaded our bags into the car to drive to spencers parents all the way to the airport, and then on and off the whole rest of the day.
But what else can you expect from an already crazy emotional, prego mommy who hasnt been away from her baby boy for more than a whole 15 hours throught the whole 18 months of his life :)
So after getting a kiss goodbye from Cache we headed to the airport, of course barely making our flight. We got to Miami around 8:00 and decided to just go to the hotel and call it a day.
The next morning we drove around Miami, especially down in little havanah where Spencer spent most of his mission. He said it was cool but really weird being back there. I guess because he's back in a place where he pretty much spent 2 years of his life, but now he is there being in a total other place in his life. We spent most of the day just driving around the town seeing all the different places he lived and spent time at. We didnt get out and do much, just because mostly we didnt have time, and because Spence really didnt know what kind of cool stuff there was to do since while on the mish, you dont really do to much of that.
After seeing all he wanted to see we drove to Orlando where my parents and sisters were. They all had left a few days before for a Dental convention that was there. My dad recieved a pretty big award for his dentistry. GO DAD!!! :)
pretty sad but this is the only picture we took the whole time we were in Miami.
A bird took a pretty huge dump on our car within the first hour we had it.
The next day we met up with Austin, Jo, Grandma and Grandpa and our Aunt Sharon at the airport and headed to Port Canavaral where our ship left.
*the first night on the ship*
our first stop was to CocoCay, the ships private island.
We spent the whole day on the beach relaxing
the boys had fun snorkeling
* Island view of the ship*
The boys had a good time doing the flowrider alot during our "at sea" days.

* while the boys surfed we all almost got blown off the ship trying to watch them*
*ahh. . . so cute ;)*

*me and my love*
*late night hanging out with everyone*
minus dad and dari. dad was the designated babysitter for Dari everynight so after about 10 or 11 everynight we missed them
*the boys, dancing there way to do some more gambling*
first time for jo, and after that it's all he could think about :)
Our second destination was St. Thomas. We spent the day at Magens Bay. I think it is listed as one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

*It was pretty beautiful*
we got to talk to cousin Madi who was watching Cache during the time and she said he was doing great. it took alot for me to even ask about him because I would just turn into an emotional wreck the second I or anyone else metioned his name. but I held it together pretty well and got to talk to her about him but unfortunately he was sleeping so i didnt get to hear his precious voice. I made her send me a picture of him though :)
*another night at dinner*
* we loved our towel animals *
Our last stop was so St.Marten. this place ended up being our favorite. At first we took a long drive around the island then to a place where we could go zip line but that ended up being a bust. We get there only to realize you must be wearing the proper gear while all of us are standing around in our swim suits and flip flops. oh well, it looked pretty lame anyway.
Then we drove down to one of there beaches that ended up being our favorite.
It was so beautiful
*and the boys got to do some more snorkeling*
Dari got her hair braided by this lady who tried to totally rip us off.
but, she didnt get away with it and dari looked so cute with all the little braids everywhere

Heading back to the ship

We had a super good time and were so lucky to be able to go on this super fun vacation and to spend so much time with my amazing family! I love them all!
And I love my Spence! he's always a good time but this week was just the best and I'm so happy we got to take this trip together! Even though I missed my little baby like crazy, getting to spend all that fun time with my other baby made me the happiest girl in the world!
By the last day I was definatlely anxious to get home to my precious.
We got home around 10 that night and picked Cache up from Greg and Leslie's. He was asleep when we got there. I picked him up immediatly and snuggled the crap out of him. He woke up after a few minutes and was so confused. He stared at me and kept rubbing his eyes and then would stare again and rub his eyes. luckily he wasnt mad at us like most people were preparing us for. while driving home he gave me a few unsure smiles but once we got to the house he perked right up and started showing off, jumping all around. so cute!!! oh man i missed him!
I made him sleep with us that night:)
For about a week after he was super clingy to me and followed me all around the house most days . I loved it :) Anyway, from the sounds of things, Cache had a good time too. he got to spend lots of quality time with his grandma and pa and cousin madi and Also with his
aunt meg and uncle brandon and all there cute boys. Megan waited a few weeks to tell me this but she said after a few days cache started calling her mommy. Makes me sad but happy to know he was taken care of and loved enough for him to confuse her as mom.
i love them all and am so thankful to have such amazing family to take care of our baby so that me and spence could spend that time together!
